Apart from receiving good reviews, the film also did a smashing business at the ticket counter, minting over Rs 480 crore globally. In the three-minute video, we see that after the apparent death of Ponniyin Selvan, a new crown prince has been announced. The film, which stars A-listers such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Vikram, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi among others, promises another enchanting and exhilarating chapter of the Chola dynasty.
